A small village on the northern edge of Santorini, where the view and the sunset steal the show.
The dazzling Oia is nestled in the cliffs of Santorini, like a panorama of white buildings with scattered colored roofs, characteristic of the island, which contrasts with the deep blue of the sea.
Here one can also see cute little churches by taking a walk.

Imerovigli Santorini

Imerovigli
Imerovigli is located 3 kilometers northwest of Fira, at the highest point of the caldera, about 300 meters above sea level.
Its name comes from the words day and vigil (Latin vigilare: “I aim”), i.e. a small tower that functioned as a daytime watchtower, as its position allowed the observation of the entire area and the timely notification of the island’s inhabitants about the appearance of pirates from the side of Exo Gialos.

Firostefani Santorini

It is located between Fira and Imerovigli. Its name means “wreath of Fira” and is due to its altitude compared to the rest of Fira.
It offers breathtaking views of the caldera and the sunset.

Fira Santorini

Fira
Fira is the capital of Santorini. It is located on the western side of the island and is built on top of steep rocks at an altitude of about 250 meters from the sea. It became the capital of the island at the end of the 18th century, when the inhabitants were forced to abandon the old capital, Skaros.
A characteristic feature of Fira is the white houses with blue doors, while an amazing panoramic view of the caldera awaits the visitor.
In addition to the romantic atmosphere and picturesque landscapes, in Fira you will also find the Archaeological Museum of Thira and the Museum of Prehistoric Thira, where you can learn more about the rich history of the island.

Prophit Helias Santorini

Monastery of prophet Ilias
At the top of the mountain of Prophet Ilias and at a height of 567 meters is the impressive and imposing monastery of “Profitis Ilias” whose construction began in 1711 and was completed in 1724.
The monastery is male and more than ten monks live in its facilities. The visit of women to the Monastery was allowed for the first time in 1853 and continues to this day.

Archaeological museum in Akrotiri

Archaeological site of Akrotiri
One of the most important centers of the Aegean in prehistoric times. The first installations in Akrotiri date from the Late Neolithic Era (at least from the 4th millennium BC). During the Early Bronze Age (3rd millennium BC) there was a settlement at Akrotiri. During the Middle and Early Late Bronze Age (20th-17th century BC) this settlement expanded and became one of the most important urban centers and ports of the Aegean.
Its large area (about 200 acres), its excellent urban organization, its drainage network, its elaborate multi-storied buildings with exquisite mural decoration, the rich furnishings and household goods testify to its great development.

Black Beach in Satorini

Black beaches are formed from volcanic minerals and volcanic lava. Such beaches are no less beautiful than white sands, especially with a mixture of natural landscapes in the exotic environment.
The beach is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds and has a diving center and a water park. Perissa has fine, black sand and is located in the shadow of the impressive Mesa Vounou. It will always be full, but it will always offer many and highly interesting options for activities, so that you will never get bored.
